Walking across The Brooklyn Bridge

This is my one of two projects planned during this Thanksgiving time in Manhattan stay.
The first one was to cross George Washington Bridge through the pedestrian walkway, but it has been delayed because of recent inclement weather and high winds, so I changed to Brooklyn Bridge as my first bridge walking.
The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City. It connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, spanning the East River. The Brooklyn Bridge has a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and a height of 276.5 ft (84.3 m) above mean high water. It is one of the oldest roadway bridges in the United States and was the world's first steel-wire suspension bridge, as well as the first fixed crossing across the East River.
The Brooklyn Bridge started construction in 1869 and was completed fourteen years later in 1883.
The distance of the Bridge is 1.3 miles, taking 25 minutes for normal walk.
I wanted to visit the Korean War Veterans Plaza next to Cadman Plaza Park.

Here is my walking plan:
Date: Nov 29, 2018
Temp was high at 43 deg F and low at 27 deg at night with wind 10 to 20 mph.
Time: 12:45 to 15:30
Depart: 14th Street Subway A station
I passed Stations at W4, Canal, Chambers Sts and then got off at Fulton St Station.
Arrival: Fulton Street Subway Station at the corner of Fulton and Nassau Sts.

Then I took the Nassau St to the northeast direction until I arrived the entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge, where I took the pedestrian promenade to the southeast direction.

The promenade was fully crowded with tourists, families, friends, and even babies in baby coaches with covers for protections.
The distance of the Bridge is 1.3 miles, taking 25 minutes at the normal pedestrian walk, but it took 30 to 35 minutes of time for my leisurely walk.
I took some photos, and asked people to take pictures of me, and kept walking, passing the midpoint of the Bridge, and arrived at the Brooklyn entrance.
There were many patrol cars, I was able to find the Korean War Veterans Plaza which showed the brief history of Korean War, and it was commemoration of the veterans dead during their service as well as live soldiers.
It looked very much like ordinary neighbor parks without offices or buildings. I stood in front of an epitaph, paid my silent prayer, showed my respect for what this wall stands for, and left.
My walk here was a very precious and memorable experience.
