I don't, Dr. HJ! I never felt the life is fair but full of absurdity only to add the anxiety and confusions!
These children at the border reminds me of their misery I witnessed through my visits to Guatemala and Elsalvador I made more than two decades ago while I was actively involved to help them to organize their transplant surgery programs. Yes, it was so painful to watch such misery of poverty I never saw after the Korean War we all experienced. But, miraculously(?), they take it as the fate to have surprised me, making me wondering whether it has anything to do with the religion/Christianity influence. Innocent? Perhaps!

Who said, "Life is fair"?
Every day the news around the world is full of
sad stories like these, making all of us depressed.
One of the worst has been what's been happening to
our southern border with children of migrants unaccompanied by
parents desperately trying to enter the USA, the land of their dream, oasis.
As one of the privileged super seniors living here fully vaccinated,
I find it very hard to read all these sad stories every day and to try
to overcome them by my own way of positive thinking and praying.
I find it most effective and helpful to be able to confide with my own
family, wife, children, and grandchildren.
