Sweetens Cove Golf Club, a nine-hole course that plays for $20, is winning acclaim at a time when golf is facing declining participation and stagnant course construction.

FYI;
1. The world has about 30,000 golf courses and America has more than 18,000, they say
2. The main cause of Declining Golf Participation is Smart Phone, Young guys these days
are absorbed in surfing around the Smart Phone and they don't come out to the Golf Courses.
30% Down in Golf-related business, they say.
The situation applies to South Korea too. Many Golf Couses, about 500 in all, are in financial
trounle and closing. But good for old golfers as far as I am concered, 'Cause not many Golfers
are out there these days and many Golf Courses in NY/NJ downed their fee.
But this is not good news for our next generation for their Mental & Physical health.
I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks.
A beautiful story for golfers.
Like in every profession, this course architect sounds like "has it."
Too bad. I am not near it.
