Notice: Please ignore the changes in #1, #3, and #4. These changes are cancelled.
The change in #2 remains.
The following changes were made in the "Freeboard" article listings.
This is nothing critical. You may not even notice them.
1. Change of listing order of the webpages
The webpage articles and comments have been listed according to the date of the webpage's first uploading
(Here, it simply named as "Date"). However, sometimes, many days or weeks later,
a writer may update his old webpage which went farther behind in the listing order.
Such changes may not be recognized by other members because the webpage article is hidden in the past
or in another old pages behind.
In order to correct this situation, the webpage articles are listed according to the "Modified Date".
This means that if an author updates his webpage article, or someone wrote a new comment on it,
the webpage will be promoted as if it's written today.
And the webpage will be moved to the top (latest date) of the listing.
This does change the "serial number" (the first number you see in the listing),
but it does not change the original "Address Link number",
so that the link on the particular webapge remains the same.
Suppose you give the link of an article to your friend, your friend can still see it correctly
as the link address has not been changed.
For example "Minnesota Project" was way below at the bottom but I added a test comment on it.
After that, the article was moved to the top just above "Tamsulosin".
Then I added another testing comment under "Tamsulosin", and then it got listed just above "Minnesota".
During these switching, the original addresses of the articles were not changed.
They remain same as below.
http://www.snuma.net/xe/freeboard/80892 ("Minnesota" webpage link)
http://www.snuma.net/xe/freeboard/82095 ("Tamsulosin" webpage link)
2. Moving the column position of "Author's nick name"
The column of the original uploading date was moved forward in front of the "Author" column,
so that two column spaces don't get overlapped.
You may not have noticed the overlapping but it has been a thorn in my eyes for a while.
So, I finally changed it. Now it looks good without overlapping.
I can sleep with my eyes closed from now on.
3. The New Changes are actually happening:
As you see, you will see the changes coming to the listings below.
Two very old articles came up to the front page (#1).
Obviously, Dr. 김성철*67 must have modified his old article a few days ago (on 8-12-2018).
They were uploaded in the year of 2014 and 2015.
The serial number were changed to 7069 and 7071 each as they changed the position.
7071 Miserere Mei Deus ( Have mercy on me, O God ) [1] update 2014.12.04
김성철*67 2018.08.12 1710
7069 Czardas update 2015.10.14 김성철*67 2018.08.12 2151
Note: Here, the "조회숫자, Number of views" were 1710 and 2151 each.
These do not mean that 1710 or 3151 people actually saw (read) these articles.
The old articles always have much higher view numbers.
These views are from the "search engine such as Google or Yahoo".
4. This creates some problems.
If Dr. 김성철*67 went back to the area of 2014 or 2015 to look for his old articles,
he will not find them because the webpages were moved to 8-12-2018 position.
He has to either "website search" or go to the latest modification date to find his webpages.
I want you, all members, know or expect that this can happen to your old article
if you change or update it or if someone, unknowingly to you, adds a comment on yours.
So, if you can not find your old webpage, go to the "Home-Login" page
and use "Website Search" at the left column to find yours.
If you are in a loss and don't know what to do, please let me know. I will find it for you.
Due to some problems, reported by Dr. Hwang and Dr. Ohn,
I reversed the latest change to the old setup.
In the above #1, #3, #4 was canceled for now.
Is anyone having problems with the website?
Please let me know.
