When we say "Trump" administration, it sounds like the behavior of "Trump" himself.
But let's be careful in saying "Trump" administration. It's the decision by DOJ, not by Trump.
Trump gets underserving glory for nothing in this case.
You should know that Trump is about to fire the current chief of DOJ.
We should say simply "The current DOJ" or just "Current administration",
instead of "Trump" administration.
It gives an impression that Trump actually condemns the discriminatory practices of
Havard University against the Asian American students.
I have a serious doubt that Trump, a person of white supremacy character,
would support the above decision of DOJ.
Harvard has been guilty of racial discrimination for a long long time and we all know it.
Yet, it still gets government subsidy (with our and Asian Americans tax dollars)
in doing so !!

Know only too well what you are saying, WM.
The two reporters from ABC News titled that way, not me,
i.e. "Trump Administration backs Asian-American etc., "
The Justice Department also maintains evidence shows that Harvard uses a “personal rating” that may be biased against Asian Americans. The government claims that "based solely on a review of the applicant’s file, Harvard scores its applicants based on “subjective” factors such as “likability” and being a “good person” with “human qualities.”
Justice officials said Harvard admits that, on average, it scores Asian-American applicants lower on this “personal rating” than applicants of other races.(from the above article)
In other words, Harvard admits the Asian-American students are less likable than other ethnic students
including whites and other minorities.
It seems obvious that is the bottom line for their discrimination against Asian-American students.
It is interesting and commendable that Trump administration backs Asian-Americans.
