General Happy Mother's Day!

I look back one day in February in New York City... And here it goes... 
Seventy Years! With my loving husband beside me, Three grown children and their spouses, And eight grandchildren With the ninth soon to be born in April. I was serenaded from all my children and grandchildren With abundant well wishes and love for me, their Halmoni. My first grandson read a letter of nomination to induct me into the make-believe World's Grandparents Recognition Association. My second Grandson made a cartoon of "Ages" comparing seventy years to the age of Sun as following; "If you have ever thought that seventy is quite a lot, Think again... Seventy is pretty young, If you compare it to the sun. The sun is 4.6 billion years old... And no where close to growing cold." My third grandchild gave me "The Top Ten Wishes I Hope Come True..." Wishing me the very best birthday ever. My Fourth grandchild sang a beautiful song, "Let's go fly a Kite" from the Mary Poppins Musical in full verses with precise tune and rhythm. My Fifth and Seventh grandchildren sang a song "Fifty, Nifty, Fifty States of United States..." In alphabetical order from Alabama to Wyoming Without missing a state, Pumping fists in the air at Minnesota (their Gomo's state), New York (their home) and Ohio (our home state). The sixth grandchild played a joke on me; "Knock, Knock" I responded, "Who's there?" "Me-e" "Me who?" "Abby! Abby Birthday to You, Abby Birthday To You, Abby Birthday dear Halmoni- Happy Birthday to You!" The Eighth grandchild clapped his palms in his mama's arms, The to-be-ninth grandchild swam around in his mama's womb. Why wouldn't I be seventy and be here today? They made the seventy years of my life splendid. Indeed, indeed! "I must have done something good!" PS; Our ninth grandchild happily joined the Cho clan on April 8th, 2011 as the third after his two sisters.  |

저희도 마침 뉴욕방문시 어머니날이 포함되어서 모처럼만에
어머니날 애들에 쌓여 호강했습니다.이제겨우 손자한놈이 태어남이 이렇게 설레이는데 손주들을
9명이나 두셨으니 참으로 다복하십니다.세상만사 뿌린대로 거두는법이니 좋은일만 있을것입니다.
축하합니다.아무리 'seven'이라는 숫자가 행운을 가져온다해도 앞으로
당분간 되도록이면 '70'이라는 말씀은 삼가하면서 살아갑시다.ㅎ.ㅎ. 규정 -

시세말로 칠학년에 웃으면서 진급했습니다.
어찌하다 보니 손주들이 주렁 주렁 달린 할미가 되어
고것들 보고 싶어서 비양기도 많이 탑니다.
만으로 열세살 된 큰손자는 할아버지보다 키가 커 버렸네요.
