Yes, Kamala was quite impressive, word by word! Such refreshing expression with a clear message, better than a plain talk/narration by Joe Biden! You simply can not compare her presentation with Trump's tweet/gibberish based on a three-year-old kid's vocabulary, all he has!
Hope she would reinforce the limit Joe has, to lead through this crisis!

P.S. I didn't know her mother was from Chennai, India I also have a special relationship/memory through my beloved colleague, British educated/trained cardiac surgeon/cardiologist, the late Solomon Victor, of Chennai Cardiac Institute, I admire most. Solomon invited me to Chennai in early '90, my first trip to India, opened my eye to have a bird's eye view on Budd-Chiari Syndrome, the most challenging, technically, candidate for the liver transplant, and had more chance to visit him in Chennai till he succumbed with heart attack ironically. I learned the philosophy of 'Chirurgie' from Solomon and I still vividly remember walking around the beach along Bengal Bay at sunset listening to his view on life as a surgeon.
Yes, Chennai, the cultural and intellectual center of South India/Tamil Nadu, I love it!

I've never seen such a spontaneous celebration across America and around the globe for that matter
since I came to the USA in 1965. It seems getting rid of one man, Trump, is equivalent to
getting rid of the Pandemic causing coronavirus. It seems Trump is as toxic, infectious, as the virus
in bringing about the worst out of men and women just like Hitler did out of Germans and
other people so that it seems understandable why people celebrate so spontaneously and
so genuinely for getting rid of this virus, Donald Trump.
Today is a really sad day for me, though, because I received a news
one of my closest friends in Michigan died of COVID19.
I believe my dear friend became part of statistics, one of a quarter-million deaths,
partly because of Donald Trump.

One thing remarkable is that, in the middle of all these political mishaps and turmoils,
Asians are rising continuously. Kamala is a good example.
See... Who thought about ever an Asian Indian gets to be the vice-president of the U.S.?
In some accidental or unseen circumstances, she can even be the president of the U.S.
You never know. I guess such lucky happenings may be due to the fact
that Asians are smarter and work harder than the red-necks. It shows.
We say again that "America is the land of opportunities."

Good observation, WM.
Andrew Yang is heading for Georgia to help the senate race
and rumored to be being considered for a cabinet post.
As you know, he is a Chinese American with a lot of intelligence
like Kamala and Obama. As you said, Asian Americans may well
have been given a golden chance to progress politically and
to demonstrate their ability to lead the USA out of difficulties to
the land we all Americans are dreaming of.
I read some time ago Biden is planning a one-term presidency which
means Kamala Harris will likely be nominated for the next president.
can't help saying "God works mysteriously".

I hope C. Harris becomes a presidential candidate in 2024 instead of
J. Biden. I think she has a Hollywood quality of charisma.
The age should not be any barrier, but he will be 82 after the second term.
By then he finishes another 4 years, he will be 86.
