The virus revealed many weaknesses in America. Food insecurity in the
the richest nation on earth is the manifestation of serious income inequality.
Income inequality has been growing over the years, but the nation has
never felt its seriousness before the pandemic. The majority of Americans
have jobs but they are not earning enough to save for the rainy days.
Many Americans who are working do not have enough money to pay
the rent and eat in some areas where the rent is high.
The American health care system clearly failed to fight the virus. Of course
WH fumbled it but the health care system must take some blame. Private
enterprise would not do anything free for the community problem. Public
heath care system will not generate any profit because it has to get ready
for the unseen intruders. It is like an army for the national defense.
The racial division that began 12 years ago became hopelessly dangerous during
Trump administration. If Trump is allowed for 4 more years, the country
may be torn apart because of violence. I think the new president has to reform
the country; redistribution of income, health care reform, and racial harmony.

'Racial division' here in the U.S. is nothing new but the continuum of the 'human nature'! Since the white settlers initiated with the massacre of the native Americans way before the black slaves were brought in. Yes, it has't been stopped, which I once again confirmed through the books/articles I read during the Labor Day Holidays as I wrote briefly elsewhere. Only the education was able to control too frequent overflowing. But this bastard Tramp removed the lid with more fires to boil over every day as we see and read every day. Indeed, Michael Caputo, Dept HHS Spokesperson appealed to Trumpists to rise against Democrats/left wing anarchists through "the armed insurgency" because the election was rigged by the leftists even before the election is started yet. So we all might have to immigrate to Canada after November election, God forbids!

"...one in eight households in the USA does not have enough to eat ...."
"In the richest nation on earth, they live at the edge of hunger."
"But nothing stands out from these images more vividly than the children: eating whatever they can, whenever and wherever they can, somehow managing to maintain, in the midst of this historically desperate time, some innocence and some hope."
This is indeed no different from real wartime like Korean War.
Millions of people in the USA lost their jobs, and their families are hungry.
At the same time, millions have contracted the virus and some 200,000 have died,
and still, we do not see the clear end of this World War,
and to top it off, all these Americans are sharply divided more than ever,
and sadly so many peoples' hearts are stone- hardened as ever.
We can only pray that the Almighty God have mercy on us and
help us find His light out of this darkness.
