Images that A Grandpa will remember forever...

It is an unusual winter. The cold waves and snow storms seem to be everywhere in America.
On a quiet winter day, I ran into an old photo album that I filed deep in a subdirectory.
Then, I tried to remember one nice day of the last summer in Castle Pines Village in Castle Rock, CO.

On one summer day in June, 2009, we went swimming with our granddaughters.
Stella Soojin was 5 and Stina Soomee was 2, a short period in life when they are most lovable.

A beautiful sunny day at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains under gentle breeze....
Children's images don't last forever. They come and go faster than a breeze on the hills.

I caught a few glimpses of their images together with their smiles that will stay with me for a long time.
They will grow and run away very soon, but they leave pictures that will stay with me.
The images of the fleeting moments, in the way I like to remember...

Yes, exactly, the way they were in the precious moment gone by forever.
A grandpa has to remember as it would never come back again.







Stina is too young to make a smile or take a pose for my camera.
But it's still wonderful in the way she was.
The innocence and honesty that does not recognize the camera lens.


















Stella knows and enjoys being a photo model for her grandpa. She has done it many times before.



Her smile and laughter made me so happy. To see them is her grandpa's priviledge.



Happiness and playfulness seem to come in all different sizes, colors, and shapes.
























At times, she seems to have her own moments.






A long way to sail ahead of them. Hoping it's not over such rough waters as their grandpa did ...
