Cosmic first: AUGUST 3: In this handout from the European Space Agency (ESA), the comet Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is seen in a photo taken by the Rosetta spacecraft with the OSIRIS narrow-angle camera August 3, 2014 in space. ESA's Rosetta spacecraft became the first to rendezvous with a comet and will follow it on the journey around the sun. Doc, the funny letter you get is garbled Korean showing in another ASCII codes.
That is probably because your Ipad (or your computer) doesn't have complete Korean language setup.
If you use your regular computer, it may or may not show Korean in the normal manner.
Our website program was written for Koreans and it's dialogues come in Korean instead of English.
Most of us get the garbled letters once in a while when we use our website in America.
I did not approve you. But you were automatically approved when you finished your registration.
Before our website was going into update mode, I change the "Freeboard" to accept anyone who registers,
because I did anticipate that I might not be able to approve you guys (medical alumni).
That's why you were able to write as soon as you regstered.
One problem with that is any spammer can register and write as well as you can.
Previously, I approved everyone, so that no spammer could get in.
Now, we have become vulnerable to spammers' invasions
but it's still better than "not able to write" at all.
This is a very complicated machine.
To our members:
When you register new, you can not use the same "ID and E-Mail" that you used before.
But you are allowed to use the same password.
For E-Mail, try to make up any fake e-mail address. It will be accepted.
The e-mail address must have normal components and appearance, such as "any_word@any_name.com."
Once you registered successfully, you don't have to do it again until next update in a few years.
The update will come more often if virus problem gets worse.
There is no website program which is immune to the security update and password malfunction.
Landing on the moon was a big deal once.
But landing on a small comet even much farther away is incredible.
There, I am worried about not solving a problem with password system in our website.
Anyway, the restoration idea is dead as it won't solve the problem.
We will go on as it is now.
Please re-register as a new member in order to write.
For non-writers, you can browse our "Freebard" without logging in.
The future existence of our website is uncertain.
I have no conclusion or answer at this time.
I will consult other experts and also talk to myself.
A decision will be made soon or later.
