Indeed this is a big event for Korea.
He is the only second Asian player since KJ Choi who won this tournament.
And both of them happened to be Korean.
I watched him from start to finish and was so proud of him.
He is the only player with no major mistake or bogey among the contenders.
Perhaps we Koreans finally have found our own Tiger Woods for the future.

Sawgrass demands accuracy and scrambling. Perhaps it made it for Korean golfers who played Golf courses with
narrow fairways in the mountain. The players is regarded as 5th major. It is a great honor for Koreans to have
two winners, Choi and Kim.

Well, in order to conquer the summit of this golf game,
I am sure that he didn't have much time or energy to study English. Ha, ha, ha.
I wil be more than glad to forgive him.
I wouldn't worry about his English. He will catchup very soon.
Or, else, the standard golf interview lanquage should be in Korean.
I watched his game all the way yesterday. And then, thanks a million, Doc.
Fortunately, I had a luxury of life knowing that our Doctor Hwang will take care of the final report.
I really loved his swing. Not much back swing and wrist cocking (especially with irons)
with very solid stable strong downswing. Also, a half way follow through.
Please watch carefully what happens at the top of the backswing just before the downswing.
There is a wrist motion that will add tons of lagging.
I am going to try to mimic his swing today (If God helps me, ㅎ, ㅎ.).
It should work well for me and anyone else including all western PGA players.
Si Woo's swing is very much similar to Hideki Matsuyama.
Is this La pro forma "The Asian" swing ?? (If I am not mistaken.)
(Please watch the last video here. Both are remarkably similar in their appearance and swing !!)

Nothing more to add as my comment.
Just good news for Koreans these gloomy days after political turmoils over there.
Again I'll move to my high school web to it's golf club section.
Too much about Korean players in LPGA(태극낭자)
How about Korean players in PGA(태극전사)!
Si Woo Kim(21)of Korea won The Players Championship in PGA
at TPC Sawgrass in Florida as yougest champion at age of 21.
Perfect rythmic swing and superb ability of scramble were
keys for him to win to me. he hit only 8 greens in regulation,
but he did not make even one bogie out of other 10 holes.
They were flawless super short games and his management of
the game was extremely impressive at age of 21.
He is one of 3 two wins before age of 22 in PGA history and
Tiger Wood and Sergio Garcia are the other players.
Congratulation to the Champion Si Woo Kim! KJ
