When you travel foreign countries, very seldom their computer have Korean Language Pack.
When you ask if they have original disk, they always say "no"
because their operating system are all pirated ones.
It's same in Korea too. We can not blame them.
The computer seller load Windows system free of charge when they sell.
I used to carry Asian Language Pack in USB memory and, while there's no one around,
I install it and used the same computer every time.
Many times, the computer is under the desk invisible. Finding it was a big task.
Whoever come next to the computer later may be surprised to see Korean language bar.
Of course, they would not know who did it.
They probably would thank God for that. And therefore, I was the God. ha, ha, ha...
When I went to Laguna Woods Village many years ago, there were (are) about 40 computers in the computer room.
The computers and the Internet are free for the residents.
None of them had Korean language. So, I started to put Korean language pack one by one.
A few weeks later, almost all of them had Korean language bar.
During my days of medical practice, I was a de facto God in the operating room as a surgeon.
After retirement, I was still a God (but hidden) in the computer room. ㅎ, ㅎ, ㅎ.
Now, all Windows OS have language bar built-in. You don't have to look for the darn installation disk.
But one still has to get it activated through Control Panel.
민 대감, don't worry about Korean computers during the winter Olympic.
Any reasonably smart morons can get their own language activated.
to witness the footsteps of the greatest generation, Dr. Min.
