Symphony on the Blue Danube I / Budapest

2013년 9월 17일부터 10월 3일에 걸쳐 16일동안 Case Western Reserve Alumni Association

Group과 “Symphony on the Blue Danube”이라는 Theme의 여행을 다녀왔습니다.

Budapest, Hungary에서 M.S. Amadeus Elegant에 승선하여 5일간 Danube강위로 Cruise하며

Hapsburg Empire가 배출한 음악가들의 명곡을 감상하며 Budapest, Hungary, Bratislave, Slovakia,

Vienna , Duernstein/Melk, Austria, Passau, Germany에 도착하여 배를 떠나서 버스로

Prague, Czech 경유, Krakow, Warsaw Poland까지 다녀 왔습니다.

오늘은 5일간의 Cruise를 시작하기 전에 방문한 도나우강의 여왕이라고 불리는

아름다운 동구의 도시, Budapest의 사진을 올립니다.

동구여행은 저도 해보아서 좀 알지만 영국,독일,프랑스,이탈리등 소위
정통적 유럽여행에 비해 손색이 없다고 생각되는데 좀 underrated되는
감이 있다고 생각됩니다.
규모가 크고 고색창연한 아름다운 부다페스트 시를 사진으로남아 잘
보았습니다. 감사합니다.
아름다운 다뉴브강 선상에서의 여행은 퍽 로맨틱하게 들리는데 앞으로의
여행기가 기대됩니다.
이곳은 Polar Vortex영향으로 어제밤 -14까지 내려가 미국생활 45년만에
처음인것 같습니다. 주로 차로만 움직이는 이곳생활 이어서 별로 실감은
나지 않지만----. 규정

theme 여행도 특별한 여행의 묘미가 있을 것 같습니다.
부다페스트도 아름다운 건축물이 많네요. 가 보고 싶어집니다. 나중에...

대여섯 대학 동창들이 모여서 간 구릅여행이였는데
가는곳 마다 마련된 음악회도 환상적이였고
배에서 매일 일정에 관계된 초빙강사들의 전문적인 강의가
희귀하고 값진 보너스였습니다.
