I keep on walking.
I don't remember when I started walking.
It is so long ago.
It must've been perhaps when I was ten years old
when the Korean War broke out and
started questioning what it's all about.
Somehow I knew it would be such a long walk all by myself.

Throughout my youth
I was in a race with TIME,
which I was convinced was the fairest judge of all
in determining the success and the failure of your life.
It was a neverending competition which resulted in many fruits
which I enjoy in my old age.
For so long I thought the fruits were all through my great efforts only,
which I began to doubt some years ago and now am convinced
it isn't so after all.
I said, "What a ridiculous idea it was!"

I keep on walking in the same path which
I started such a long time ago.
It is at much slower pace than ever before.
The path in front of me is sometimes foggy, dark and scary,
At times it is under the bright sun and clear.
It remains full of ventures, surprises, joys and sorrows.
"HE lets me rest in fields of green grass and
leads me to quiet pools of fresh water.
HE gives me new strength and guides me in the right path."

I keep on walking.
I promise myself I'll keep on walking.
That's all I can do and want to do.
The rest is up to HIM.
