Mother Earth, You and Me.
What is Mother Earth?
It is a dream land.
It is the land of dreams
You and I are dreaming about.
It is made of your dreams and my dreams.
Ever since it was created out of nothing, black space,
It's been waiting for you and me to claim it,
As the land of your dreams and mine.
Ever since you and I were born into Mother Earth,
It's been waiting for you and me to grow up,
To realize, to be enlightened, as you were meant to,
To claim it,
as the land of your dream and my dream.
Our Mother Earth works day and night for eons,
Waiting for you and me to claim it without having a war,
Without fighting against each other so that
You don't spoil your dreams,
You don't turn your dreams into nightmares,
And you don't forget why you and I came here
And what our dreams were.
It was and is so simple to realize your dreams and mine.
All Mother Earth, our Creator, wants us to do
Was and is
To learn to respect and love each other
To coexist and to fulfill your dreams and mine.
It was and is so straightforward for you and me to know
What we must do, namely, learn to love each other
To coexist and to fulfill your dreams and mine.
Look around you.
What do you see?
Every moment, every hour, every day and night,
Dreams turn nothing into something you and I can see, hear, touch and love.
Your dreams and mine are turning nothing into something
You and I can see, hear, touch and love.
Tens of thousands of years have gone by,
Yet Mother Earth is still working day and night
Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting,
Hopefully, prayerfully,
Not forever,
For you and me to learn to respect each other,
For you and me to learn to love each other
So
You and me may coexist without destroying each other
And you and me may fulfill our dreams.
Mother Earth,
You and me.
Your dreams and mine,
Learn to respect each other.
Learn to love each other.
Mother Earth,
Land of your dreams and mine.
Peace on earth.
Heaven on earth.

What a beautiful poem it is!
However we see misery all over the places every day, more now than before?
Why is that?
God intended paradise for all of us, but we, humans, are so hard to save ourselves, or to be saved.
Is it because we, humans, simply are the bad seeds, unsalvageable?
We don't have to go to the worst country in the whole world, North Korea,
Just look around us here in America.
Police killed the thugs who were committing crimes, then there started ever increasing riots
destroying everything in sight, and then uncondonable looting while saying "Black lives matter",
Does that mean "No other lives matter." ?
Just to take only one example out of so many problems.
Are we still heading to the paradise in heaven, or to hell on earth?
Am I too pessimistic? No, I badly want better day tomorrow, but don't know how.
I am puzzled, and want to be enlightened.

정선배님,
Thank you for your comment.
Enlightened people like you, I suppose, have asked the same questions
for thousands of years and will do so, it seems, forever.
And yet it seems there are plenty of us in this world realizing their dreams
and benefitting our mankind for its survival on Mother Earth.
