How many of you do remember the date of Inchon Landing- September 15, 1950-?

P.S. A couple of months ago I had a chance to go to Ethiopean restaurant located in Northern Virginia, Washington suberb and noticed one old gentleman sitting alone on one corner of the restaurant, keeping the glance on us- we accompanied one Korean couple!-. Finally my friend, very friendly and outgoing, decided to come to him to say hello. Alas, we learned he was dying to talk about his experience through Korean War he volunteered to participate in his youg age. We invited him to join to our dinner table and spend whole hour to listen such in teresting story including the pivotal role of Inchon landing- BTW, he became a history professor at Addis Abbaba and wrote many articles about Korean War, till he moved/followed his family to immigrate to the U.S. - . We were really ashamed to our ignorance to Korean War with such limited microscopic view as a Korean through his such extensive knowledge to Korea. But his last word remained in my heart: ' I am really saddened to know Koreans are 'ungrateful (?), thankless people, considering the USA as Number One Enemy ahead of North Korea!', which he left the table.
