(Jtbc news anker briefing; I shall go to Korea)
I shall go to Korea)
I shall go to Korea.”
요지음은 “I shall go to Singapore.”

Anyway, he liked fatty diet so much, ended up having the famous "heart attack" later.

Soon after Ike became a president, Stalin died. The period of governing transition in
Soviet and Ike’s threat to use nuclear weapon hastened the process of Armistice.
Trump has been undermined because of Russian collusion and sex scandal. Impeachment
or one term presidency must be hanging over his head. Bringing peace in Korean pinisula
is a huge opportunity for him to overcome the odds. Trump is hurrying his staff to get ready
for 6.12 meeting.

Ike was an avid golfer. He made a putting green in the White House.
He had to play golf before starting to work. He went to the office with
spiked golf shoes on. Naturally, the floor had a numerous spike marks.
Nixon played golf reluctantly to please Ike.
Kennedy was an excellent golfer. He shot 70’s. In Hyannis, Mass he had a house along
the golf course. He started the round from the 6th hole and finished 16th hole. He did
not want the public know that he played golf. He had a chronic back pain and he had
many epidural cortisone shots to relieve the back pain. Consequently, he ended up
having Addison’s disease. He had to take steroid everyday rest of his life.
As soon as he succeeded Ike, he got rid of the putting green the Ike made.
Ike suffered from angina pectoris throughout his presidency.

(JFK’s Addison’s disease)
What I knew about JFK’s addison’s Disease was probably wrong. His addison’s Disease was not
caused by overuse of steroids. Thank you, Dr. 신.

All is well. Thank you.

I guess Kernnedy's steroid intake was to treat his Addison's disease, not for any digestive or back disorder.
The condition required him to take steroid for the rest of his life.
Eisenhower did come to Korea in November 29, 1952 "after" the election.
Thus, he did fullfill his promise and eventually ended Korean War (I mean the armistice).
We can always make minor mistakes in our writings, especially in the comment spaces.
Generally, comments are made by an impromptu emtions or feelings. Any errors can happen.
And our opinions or opinions can go to every different directions,
not necessarily conforming to the general (brainwashed) common senses.
(For example: My idea of North Korea's keeping the nuclear weapons.
Being formally approved as a nuclear nation may turn out to be a great blessing for entire Koreans.
Not only North Koreans are brainwashed but South Koreans are as well.)
I don't think Dr. Ohn created an intentional misinformation here.
I think his ideas are sound and, after all, his own. I don't see anything unusual or unpatriotic.
We are in America. Please feel free to write your own idea.
I am watching every words you write.
If there's anything bad, malicious, or against our policy, I will remove it.

I think it was Eisenhower's first visit to Korea. (It could be his second visit.)
My memory is not clear but I think it was when I was in high school.
My home was at 숭인동 (동대문 밖).
Eisenhower came from the 동대문 direction in an wide-open convertible car.
(this means most likely his first visit.) He waved his arms and hands with big smiles.
From high on a hill nearby the street (across from 종묘), I saw him very well.
To my surprise, Ike's face was really red
He, then, took a helicopter from 신설동 운동장 and left to somewhere.
There were huge amount of Koreans jam-packed along the entire street.
I still don't remember why the hell I was there ??
Another story...
In near downtown Denver, in Aurora, CO, there used to be Fitzimons Golf Course
beside the old Fitzimons Army Hospital. Eisenhower was there for some reason for a long time
and he played golf at Fitzimons Golf Course very often.
There is a tall big tree in the middle of the fairway in one of the holes.
One has to decide how to hit his Tee shot, either right or left of the tree.
If he hits straight, the ball will hit the tree and he is in big trouble.
I hit this darn tree a few time while I was playing there.
We, golfers, call this tree as "Eisenhower Tree."
Anyway, the course is closed in 2018 to give room for the new University of Colorado Hospital.
Well, so much personal "인연" with Dwight Eisenhower.

2018.05.31 08:04
Doc, well, most Koreans call us "박사". So, I did the same thing here.
I treat everybody who comes to this website with highest respect, and that's another reason.
Actually, I call almost everybody, regardless of junior or senior, "Doc" anyway.
It is just a formailty of mine in the website. You don't have to do like me.
I hope this makes my "official" explanation.
Of course, I did and also will call you "very casually" when we meet face to face.
Please don't worry. You are and will be one of my dearest friends.
It was around early 1970s in New Jersey when we had SNUCMAA annual meeting.
New York area alumni ran the meeting then. A lot of things went wrong there.
And, then, I decided and told myself that I would never come to the alumni meeting.
Ever since, I kept the promise and haven't been to the meeting. I have had no regrets on that.
I was just kidding earlier. I am glad you didn't invite me. Thanks a million for that.
These North Korean things are gettting very serious and put our emotions on the edge.
For a change, I am glad to have talked about much less serious and casual stuff here.

Good night. Baekhyo

When N. Korea conducted the first Nuke Bomb experiment in 2006,
US Congressman in Charge of Asian-Pacific Affairs invited a few
Korean Americans to hear what we thought about it.
I said to him "I shall go to Korea", if Total War breaks out.
Do you know what he said?
"You're too old. We don't need you".
Still,
I am determined "To Go To Korea" as a medical doctor,
If War Breaks Out over Korean Peninsula To Help Defend.
2018.05.31 13:58
Doc, you are right. I guess it must have been the second visit of Eisenhower.
In November 1952, I was in Pusan -
North Korea
(Dr. Bang
They have been our worst enemy.

I remember seeing Ike when I was in high school.
We all went out to greet him when he landed in helicopter
somewhere in Seoul.
also remember reading the newspaper which said Ike liked
Bulkogi much.
He always was full of smiles.
