First of all, my sincere congratulations on publishing Lydia's debut novel. Taking advantage of continuing winter storm, I finally finished reading the whole book last week.

To begin with, it is so interesting and thrilling a book that I could not put down. It was not only a page turner, it made me stay obsessed throughout the week. It even tried to   intrude to my dreams.
While I am no literary critic, I was so amazed with the plot, which went through so many unexpected twists and turns, ended up training me to expect the wholly unanticipated.
After some initial confusion about the identity of protagonists, probably due to my un-
famarity of dystopian, youthful sci/fi genre, I became deeply absorbed with emotional struggles of individuals. It was undoubtedly author's ardent love and affection for those unfortunate and displaced young people that we, the readers, were also gradually drawn to their side and ended up rooting for for those unseemly character. Zel, Dyl, Cy, Wilbert,  Hex, Ana and Marka, ---.
It has intrigue, struggle, paranoia, questionable medical experiment, even serious physical fights, and yes, love and romance, which ended in utterly unexpected way. I found the book very interesting, uplifting, sad, vexing, agonizing and thrilling.

It is rare that I read a book of this bent. And I am glad that I did. It even has memorable heartening poems. It is a splendid book, well thought out, masterfully written with some beautiful verses.
