You are welcome, Dr. Lee! Professor 정윤석 helped me a lot to understand the virus.
It seems to me that the epidemic is likely to be under control in 3 to 4 months provided
that the stringent measures are applied. I think China is under control now. The epidemic
in China started in November or December. The one in Korea began in January and peaked
as of Feb 29. I think SK will be OK by the end of April. The U.S. is just starting. Considering
the measures that are far from perfection, it is probably OK by the end of June or early July.
However, it is a big "if"Trump does not mess it up. I mean if he does not do it in his own way.

As a super-senior, even the grocery shopping seems to be tricky now- my research coordinator offered us to do the grocery shopping for us !!!- to make me feel humiliated! No gym, no movie theatre, no concert, no nothing, except a walk around the trail alone!
I have no qualm whatsoever to cancel all the travel schedules through the year EXCEPT one trip to Buenos Aires along the last week of September this Fall for one important meeting I heavily invested as a part of my finale of career. So I am anxiously to figure out whether this virus would flare up through South America this Fall because down there it will be the summer!!-. Unless the current travel ban by the University would continue till through the Fall, I cannot skip. Apparently, the virus would remain active due to such man-made living conditions, equal to everywhere with the air-con, etc throughout the world. So they say it would remain like the flu, God forbid!
Pray for the best,
BB Lee
P.S. I always felt guilty to my wife to let her watch her favorite Commisario Montalbano alone in the evening through these many years with a poor excuse on my works- now I finished the last book to reflect my career through the year and published a few months ago so that I have no more excuse!-. Now I watch Montalbano series every night- it has a total of 34 episodes- and indeed I started to enjoy them/Italian versions of detective stories more than I expected. What a change in my daily life!

Gilead's coronavirus treatment is already being used in Washington state
Redfield, during Congressional testimony before a House of Representatives committee
regarding the CDC’s budget and spending priorities in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak,
said that “remdesivir is available right now on compassionate use,” in Washington. Preliminary results
for the treatment’s effectiveness will likely become clearer in mere months, according to Redfield.

I don't mean I underestimate the level of Korean kinds of stuff but this KBS interview- it is the first time to watch since I came back home in 2004!- is quite impressive, perhaps the best summary on this Wuhan virus as I understood. Both interviewer and interviewee are quite efficient to deal with the issue very effectively, better than any other interview in CNN and MSNBC, equivalent to Rachel Maddow! Impressive!
Thanks, Dr. Ohn.
