Elderly patients, our contemporaries I should say, need to be aware that

their treating physicians like the one in this article have no real scientific trial data

available to support what they are doing as their doctors to treat you either

medically or surgically. If their doctors are honest, they should let you know

before you ask and before they prescribe drugs or recommend a procedure or surgery.
