현 탈레반의 최고 지도자는 말라위 하이바툴라 아쿤자다라는 인물이 꼽힌다. 60대로 알려진 아쿤자다는 역대 탈레반 지도자들처럼 좀처럼 공개 석상에 모습을 드러내지 않는다. 파키스탄의 모처에 은신하면서 아프간 탈환의 막후 지휘를 해왔다. 이슬람 법학자 출신으로 정치ㆍ종교ㆍ군사 등을 관장하고 있다.

아프간 대통령궁에 탈레반 깃발 올려  

알자지라방송은 탈레반의 사령관들이 이날 대통령궁에서 무장 대원 수십명과 함께 있는 모습을 영상으로 공개했다. 탈레반 대원들은 아프간 대통령궁을 장악한 뒤 탈레반기도 게양했다고 전했다.

Too painful to watch!

Though they deserved for what they did to themselves through these many years, this tragic outcome makes me wonder what would happen when, not if, the U.S. should pull out the military forces from SK as Koreans/Moony's government wishes.

How can the Taliban win?

For them, there was no enemy to fight against.

This is known as an international "piece of cake".

Thanks to the stupidity of Trump and Biden.

The same will never happen if the U.S. pulls out of Korea, even under the Moon's regime.

Please count on Koreans. They can take care of themselves.
