Apple and Hyundai-Kia pushing toward a deal on Apple Car

Apple is close to finalizing a deal with Hyundai-Kia to manufacture an Apple-branded autonomous electric vehicle at the Kia assembly plant in West Point, Georgia, sources tell CNBC.

According to one source familiar with Hyundai-Kia's strategy, "Chung has made it clear, mobility is the future of the company."  That's important because the Apple Car will be fully autonomous. 

Sources familiar with Apple's interest in working with Hyundai say the tech giant wants to build the "Apple Car" in North America with an established automaker willing to allow Apple to control the software and hardware that will go into the vehicle. 

It reminds me of Rachel Maddow's Show last night in regard to the future of clean energy resources. As usual, she gave many clear prospects on the clean energy to substitute DIRTY energy, much sooner than we believe, spending almost half of the show. So we are going to order her new book: "Blowout: Corrupted Democracy, Rogue State Russia, and the Richest, Most Destructive Industry on Earth" today to learn more about this oil business.

General Motors’ announcement last week that it will stop making gas-powered cars, trucks, and sport utility vehicles by 2035 and become carbon neutral by 2040 is even bolder than it sounds: The repercussions will ripple broadly across the economy, accelerating the transition to a broader electric future powered by renewable energy.

*I can not believe GM will become an all-electric car company in 15 years. Perhaps, all cars

may be driverless. Then Russian oligarchy will go down with the oil-dependent Russian economy. 
The air we breathe will be cleaner as well as Russians will be happier with a fairer government. 
 

5 years ago, I have read Red Notice by Bill Browder and realized that how corrupted Russian 

government is. Green energy may be able to clean the dirt out.
