(박노자, CBS 김현정 인터뷰)
김현정 led the interview much better than the previous one. His answers
were very sharp and interesting.

Korean politics have not had much room to maneuver since the creation of ROK in 1948.
Koreans had to be content with the boundary set by U.S.A..It is like a tiger roaming around in the
safari. The boundaries were pro-America and anti-communism. Other than that, U.S. did not care
much. As long as it is not anti-America, politicians were allowed to talk about the sorvereignty of
the nation. When politicians says, "North Koreans are brothers and sisters", U.S. made it sure that
they are not communists.
The most of ruling parties were strong pro-America and claimed aggressive antagonistic policies
against North Korea. U.S. did not care about their dictatorship. The oppositions attacked their pro-Japanese
career and the dictatorship. They approached the north with soft friendly policies. U.S. watched them carefully
if they are in fact mommunists.
As China became a superpower militarily and economically, traditional geopolitical weakness of Korean penninsula
emerged. Fortunately, strength of South Korea are probably best in at least 500 years. And the communism ended
years ago. There are no politicians left who grew up during the Japanese occupation.
I heard the voting paper in Korea is too long for a short man to hold it up without the end touching the ground.
It means the fences in the boundaries are falling down. I hope I can see the political arena of a sorvereign nation
first time in history of 대한민국.
This interview is wonderful. It's an informal talk show.
김현정 did much better in getting out what 박노자 feels and thinks.
She made Park be so free and informal as Park seems to be born with.
Park, as a person who grew up in Russia, seems to have overcome his past into a free person.
The interview showed me that we are, one way or the other, all same no matter what we are.
I enjoyed this one. Thanks.
