I am afraid this girl is going to get tortured and then killed.

If she was in China, with her full-face showing, she would get caught in no time.

I just hope that the picture was taken somewhere in the U.S. or Korea, instead of Wuhan.

I suspected from the beginning that Chinese government has decided to let 

Wuhan people stay and die in the city. Their goal is to stop spreading the virus 

outside of the city. The family with patients must stay in their home. 

Communist party first, citizens second in China. It is maddening and saddening.

Isn’t it terrible, Steve! I can’t verify further on the source of this video but it was from my colleague at Taipei as a part of his reply, yesterday, on my cancelation of the meeting he organized in June, saying “Dear Prof. BB Lee, Definitely, it is considered a right decision for you to delay your trip to here, Taiwan. It will take a couple of months to return to normal life not only in Taiwan but the other countries as well, of course, Korea, too.  -----".

Besides, another interesting news/reply from one colleague in Beijing, this morning, replying to my inquiry, saying “Dear Prof. BB Lee, Thank you for your concern about us. We are in Beijing- the capital city of China, it is quite safe but in a tense atmosphere of screening for coronavirus infection. Some of our colleagues went to Wuhan to support fighting against the virus. we are the backup group. The goods tendency is that the situation seems in control in some degree in China, we hope it will get better soon, otherwise, we cannot attend the world congress in Rome in April. You know that we cannot book an airline right now in an uncertain condition. Best regards, --".

Thank you, Dr. Lee, for sharing the real pieces of information

in regard to what it is like to live in China under the authoritarian government.

There is no proper word to express our heart-wrenching sadness and sympathy 

towards the suffering of fellow countrymen and women in North Korea and now people in China.

We can only hope and pray to God to help them lessen their suffering.

Congratulations to all of us again maybe in order as a reminder for the decisions we had made

in our youth to raise families in America and all the blessings we are enjoying now 

while watching all those good people in China and elsewhere suffer for no good reason

other than living under the dictatorship of oligarchy.

Such a blessed country I adore most, not only for myself but also for my children!

That is the reason why I am soooooo upset and angry at the Trumpians/Republicans who sold their souls to the evil to ruin the country, wishing for ‘Death to the Republicans’- which doesn’t mean I support communist Bernie and left-wing Democrats! -.

Indeed, it was quite difficult decision for me to choose this country instead of going back to Korea where I could have been much better off even with what I already achieved/had there.

But for the future of my three daughters/girls, I perceived this country is a lot better for them with no longer(?) glass ceiling for the women- indeed, all three achieved what they wanted which would have not been possible in Korea- so that I have chosen this country as my new and final country and determined to devote.

Hi, Doc; Please be careful in writing something derogatory about China

in case you make frequent trips to China. Since we have seen and read yours, you may change or delete it.

The ruling party tends to be brutally vengeful on someone who writes an unfavorable thing for them.

This webpage and your comment can come out in an Internet search very easily.

I frequently encounter my and our webpages in SNUMA.net in a generic Internet search.

My name is under WM but yours is not. Thus, I may be better protected and freer than you.
