What an accomplished and mature performance by the genius young boy!

enjoyed every bit of his soothing music just as much as I did with Yo Yo Ma's 

performance at Disney Concert Hall, LA, a year ago or so.

I note that Cameron is not only our alumni member's grandson, an irresistible pride,

but also one of my fellow Michiganians, a territorial pride.

Indeed it is a special treat for me personally partly because my wife and I spend

much  of every evening listening to classical music our constant companion, "Alexa",

bring to us at our requests.

To see your grandson play so confidently with his mom accompanying in the back

is so beautiful. I bet watching it will make you and Mrs. cry.

What a vicarious pleasure they are giving us!.

Wow, what an impressive child prodigy, Dr. Ro, fantastic!

I can't believe 8-years old fingers could generate such a rich tone like a grown-up.

He reminds me of Hanna Chang on her early days as a child prodigy- now we could hear her performance/recording quite often through WETA !- 

So, Cameron will have another 10 years to give his beautiful performance as a child prodigy, we all do look forward to listening.

Indeed I saw such an essential role of mother's support/dedication for delicate child prodigy through David Kim, the current concertmaster of the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. Without such dedication by his late mother, Cho BongHie- the first known Ph.D. with the 'performance' among Koreans in our days!!!- he would have not been able to reach the top level of the violinist. 

Bless on Cameron Renshaw for his bright future!

P.S. The melody of Saint-Saëns’ Allegro Appassionato, as well as Haydn's Cello Concerto, makes me get emotional, bringing old memory back on my kids on their childhood period- my first daughter, who is now a senior partner of Wilmer-Dale Law Firm, used to play both while at the Hopkins with Peabody orchestra group before she moved up to Boston to start her law school. And I still wonder why she had such a hard time for the tuning every day with such primitive structure. Good old days!
