1 out of 5 patients shows evidence of heart damage.
Those with evidence of heart damage are more likely to die.
We do not know what the exact causes of heart damage are,
yet like many other viruses this coronavirus may certainly be able
to invade myocardium and cause acute myocarditis in addition to
causing severe hypoxia secondary to severe lung damage which
certainly will cause heart muscle damage, more so in patients with
preexisting heart conditions.

There isn't anything unclear about this.
You can not tell the virus "not to attack the hearts."
Even though the lungs may taste better for them, they can have anything for their lunch.
