What the hell are we doing here (미국이라는 미개국), putting up with damn Trump ??  ㅎ, ㅎ, ㅎ.

Korea seems to be truly enjoying the qualities of a developed society,

the closest to Utopia in the world, while USA and the rest of civilization 

struggle forever as developing societies.

At least the above videos give you that impression.

We, as Koreans, I suppose, should feel vicarious pleasure, I believe.

I have been staying in Korea for a month each year over 10 years. 
Most of the time I wondered around Seoul everyday. There always 

are things to do. It never made me bored. To me Seoul is the best 

city to visit in the world. Last few years, I found out there are no 

thieves(좀도둑) in the city. No one picks up your belongings forgotten 

to take with you. It is the safest metropolitan in the world. It is perhaps 

cleanest city in the world. It is not very expensive for what you are 

getting in Seoul. Foods, entertainments, transportations etc. are less 

expensive than in Europe and U.S..

You can visit so many places in other cities in one day trip. KTX and buses 

are connecting to many cities so often that you do not have to wait for many 

hours. All trains and buses are very clean and comfortable. 
 

In the city if you happen to wait for the bus in the bus stop, the signs 

in front of you are posting continuously a certain number bus is coming 

and it arrives on time.

I was going to take my family (all 9 of them including me) to Korea last spring 2020

but had to cancel the trip due to Covid. From what these girls and you say,

I think they will enjoy Korea for sure. But when can we try the trip again??

October is the best month to visit Korea. It is mild 

and dry. Festivals held all over the country. Leaves 

are changing colors. Islands, seashores and mountains 

display breath taking sceneries. In the city, you can 

enjoy special presentations in museums and musical 

performances. I am hoping COVID19 will be under control 

by then this year.

My grandchildren are all in school and they don't get to have enough vacation time

during October. I wish we can pick October for the trip but it may not work out well.

For us, it's early summer before the heat when the schools go into the summer vacation.
