Presidents Cup Day 3, Tom Kim on 18th hole.
The match was tied and he was on 18th hole fairway, 230 yards away from the flag.
He hit the second shot with 2 iron and put the ball a little more than 10 feet from
the hole. He made the putt and won the match. He made 2 eagles on the same day.
His gesture and command in English, most of all his shot making is super star quality.
Four Koreans are in the international team. Koreans are seeing that two Koreans are pairing
in the competition. I think it is close to be a miracle. Folks, don't miss single's match tomorrow!
I don't care that the international team loses. I just want to see Koreans are competing in the match.

In case you have been living under a rock for a year or so, here’s what you should know: LIV Golf, a 54-hole rival league of the PGA Tour that’s funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has brought dysfunction to professional golf. Some players have left the PGA Tour in favor of it, and the PGA Tour and DP World Tour have countered by saying those defectors would not be allowed to play in future Ryder Cups or Presidents Cups. (Granted, some players have resigned their Tour memberships, making them ineligible anyway. For a few, that’s also somewhat of a “You can’t fire me, I quit!” scenario.)
The Tour has also successfully (for now) banned those players from its events. So that, in a nutshell, is why some of those golfers won’t be in the 14th playing of the Presidents Cup this week. Both teams, the U.S. and Internationals, lost potential players to LIV, but the underdog International team and captain Trevor Immelman were hit the hardest.
*U.S. made no one could buy Saudi Oil without the dollar in 1970's
when Richard Nixon abolished gold standard of the dollar because
U.S. needed to fund Vietnam War. Now, Saudi wants to run World golf
tour that US opposes. It offers much more money than PGA. Some
top ranked golfers joined the league and PGA banned them playing
in PGA tour. They are also excluded from Ryder cup and President's
cup teams.
I do not know how much it affected Korean PGA players to br selected
in the competition, but it certainly made possible for 4 Korean players
to be in the team together.

I couldn't agree with you anymore. The world was impressed by them.
Basically, Korean golfers has led the team. I am sure they gained confidence from
the experience in the competition. It will be interesting to see them
winning more often in PGA tour 2023 and beyond.
