GWB Northwalk opened

Ever since my first crossing George Washington Bridge, I walked on the pedestrian path in December 2018 more than ten times. This path is the Southwalk only. The Northwalk on the other side was not open until recently to pedestrians and bikers.
On May 4, 2023, when I was riding the local bus from GWB bus terminal to bus stop at Fort Lee, I suddenly noticed drastic changes on the Northwalk, which looked like a completed Walk for pedestrians and bikers.
So I opened the section of the news on GWB Northwalk and found the following notice:
The Northwalk on the George Washington Bridge is now open to the public to cross the Hudson River in Ft. Lee, NJ on Wednesday Feb. 15, 2023. Bikers and pedestrians now have access to the walkway after the Port Authority spent $2 billion replacing suspender cables and widening the approach to the walkway with entry plazas and a viewing platform.
So I decided to walk through this brand-new Path as soon as possible.

Directions to the Sidewalks

Direction to New York Entrance
The south sidewalk is currently closed due to construction. The north sidewalk entrance is located near the corner of West 180th Street and Cabrini Boulevard.
From the George Washington Bridge Bus Station, pedestrians and bicyclists can reach the north sidewalk by exiting on Fort Washington Avenue and proceeding to the corner of West 179th Street. After making a left on to 179th Street and proceed for two blocks, turn right on Cabrini Boulevard. The entrance will be on the left.

Direction to New Jersey Entrance
The south sidewalk is currently closed due to construction. The north sidewalk entrance is located on Hudson Terrace, north of the bridge overpass.
From the intersection of Lemoine Avenue and Bruce Reynolds Boulevard (Bridge Plaza South), Hudson Terrace can be reached by proceeding east on Bruce Reynolds Blvd. (toward the bridge). At the end of the boulevard, make a left on to Hudson Terrace and proceed north. After approximately two blocks, the entrance to north sidewalk is on the right.

On Tue May 4, I entered the Fort Lee entrance of Northwalk and moved to the Northwalk eastward until I climbed the stairs for pedestrians to separate the bikers and then descended further to the beginning of the path. Following are the photos taken on my way from the entrance to the observation platform.

Marching through Northwalk westward

On May 9, I made my first crossing through the GWB Northwalk starting the east entrance and took photos as needed. This new path was much better than the old one, such as wide and clean walk all the way.
