After our European river cruise we visited the Keukenhof Tulip Garden in the Netherlands. 
It was 80 acres of gardens full of tulips, crocuses, narcissus (daffodils), hyacinthand other bulb flowers. 

The tulips were brought to the Netherlands from Turkey in the 16th century.The Tulip Garden is only open 2 months every year from March to May.
They plant 7 million bulbs in 3 layers and they bloom over 3 months..
