What did you mean by “Korean lied soprano”? I looked up”lied” and it is a German song.

Koreans have never given up these songs.
Korean Ballard=Western pop song을 흉내낸 현대식 한국유행가 such as 만남, 친구여.
한국가곡=Korean "lyric" songs, Korean lied
한국민요=Korean folk songs
I think "Lied" is a traditional classic or folk German song but it could include modern pop songs too (?)
while "Chansons" are the French equivalent.
This is the way I understand but a lot of Korean songs fall in between.
Everyone has different definitions or classifications.
It seems that nothing is written on stone. No one, including me, knows for sure.
After all, it doesn't matter. Who cares. It's just a song.
We just sing a darn song if and when we love it and does touch our hearts.
