POET: Edgar Alan Poe Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site Annabel Lee - A song 마음에 두려움이 없는 곳 라빈드라나트 타고어 Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high Where knowledge is free Where the world has not been broken up into fragments By narrow domestic walls Where words come out from the depth of truth Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit Where the mind is led forward by thee Into ever-widening thought and action Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake Doc, you got the texts fixed pretty good except the poppy.
In this case of 720 width, you can not center the smaller poppy because it was used as a background.
The picture will get stuck at the left upper corner of the table frame because we wanted it "no repeat."
If you want to place the picture in the center, you have to do one of the below:
1. Edit(resize) the picture to the width of 720 pixels and, then, use it as a background.
2. Or, in reverse, make the table width to 500 pixels (the original size of the picture) for automatic centering.
3. Use the picture as "a picture" (just like the your "departing soul") without being the background.
Just use "center" tag or "align=center" or similar.
Since you are not overlapping the text over the picture in this case,
it will be simpler to take the step #3. Like below;
(If you want to overlap, you have to use it as background. Otherwise, you can't overlap.)

1. Resize the picture by using a photo editing program, such as Picasa (free). Resize to 720 width.
Then, upload the larger picture to a photo website and use the URL from there.
Or you can add frame (60 pixel-wide border in black color) around the picture in photo editing program.
2. You can decrease the width of the table to width=500 under the table tag.
But this will create too smaller table for your content. This is not a choice you can take.
It won't work in this particulae webpage.
Please use #3. The other options are not easy to use.
You need to study photo editing (whole new game) by using photo editing programs.

Picasa is very good for organizing pictures in your computer
but it has no satisfactory "resize" function. Even Google can be awefully stupid and short-sighted.
Instead, please use Photoscape (also free)
Download Photoscape 3.7 from:
http://photoscape.org/ps/main/download.php
As you install, decline Google Chrome by unchecking "Install Google Chrome",
and also decline "Google drive" if you don't want it.
(Whenever you download any free programs, they will always push you to add another program or two.
Make sure to decline them if you don't know or want it. Some of these may have virus in it.)
Once installed, open Photoscape,
Click "editor" at 12:00 O'Clock,
Drag or put the picture you want to edit in the canvas,
Once you put a picture, the lower menu area will light up,
At the lower center area, click "Resize" (not the down arrow),
Then, you will have the window where you can write the desired width and/or height.
Save the resized picture and upload to Photobucket (or similar photo website),
Use the URL (of your picture in Photobucket) to use in your webpage.
When you enlarge the picture, the poppy also get enlarged.
Please make sure if that is what you want.
If not, use the #3 method I suggested above.

Doc, Congratulations !!
Perseverance pays off, the essence of success.
Now, what you are going to do with the demarcation line betwwen the picture background and the TD background?
You don't see the line in my example in the comment.
The solution is in my comment.

This kind of things are relatively easy for me to do it now,
but it was after so many hours of self-studies with a lot of trials and errors.
I didn't have a teacher to guide me through.
When I realized that I could do it, I was really surprised that I finally got it done.
Now, with the skills you learned and having come to this far,
you can add your own creativities in modifying the webpage into whatever you want.
I will also keep doing the same efforts. The possibilities are endless.

English and Korean lines are longer in Annabel Lee than in other poems, so the width is 720.
Now please show me how to center the picture.
