미국에게 대한민국이란 존재는? 김정민박사[예언왕] •Dec 20, 2019
SNUMA WM Note: The first 25 minutes covers American history and preface about the western frontier
of the U.S. (that is the Korean Peninsula). Then the story extends into the strategic importance of Korea to the U.S.
in defense against China and Russia. Then you will hear why Korea is so critically important for the U.S.
In the next video, you can see the actual strategy the U.S. is seeking in Korea.
즉 대한민국의 전략적 가치가 무엇인가?
그리고 미국의 야심, 목표와 꿈은 무엇인가?

The authors, 김정민, and 신인균, are not someone I knew before. They are too young for me to know.
I met them on Youtube and I've been paying close attention to them.
Both of them appear to be conservative Koreans who seem to share the same political and social views
as mine. True or not, believe or not, they say what I like to hear.
They seem to be very patriotic. I like them and wish to believe what they say.
I may put up some more videos by them.
They are so much straight forward that I am afraid one of them, especially 김정민,
might get assassinated by their opponents. Soon, you will see my concern in the next video.

I have listened to about 20 min. Into the first video. European colonization was fueled by
the mass production due to industrialization. The industry needed raw materials and the markets
to sell the products. The colonies fulfilled their needs. The lecture says "raw material".
It is not just raw material, but the markets. How many people lived in China and India?
America won the war against Mexico. She could have the ports to navigate the Pacific. At that time
whale oil was precious. It was lubricant for the machine. It defeated the darkness at night. The factories
ran into the nights. Whale hunters left home for many months, one to two years. The ships were
powered by steam engines and needed water and coal. Sailors had to rest. They had to stop at the ports somewhere
in the pacific once in a while. There were a lot of whales in the Pacific.
Ports in Japan were the best places for their purposes. Obviously, America's desire to open Japan was growing.
The lecturer said that Japan did not want to open when Perry went near Tokyo with Black Ships. Yes, she did
not want to open as the way Perry wanted. But many Japanese leaders thought that Japan wouldn't survive
unless they learned from the west when they heard about Qing's defeat against Britain in the opium war in
1840's. Anyhow, Japan had been changing by Dutches gradually. The situation in China was
briefed by them.
Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941 because the U.S. and European countries stop aiding(selling)
weapons and gasoline to Japan. Japan was fighting against China since 1930. The Official Sino-Japanese war started in 1937.
It was basically funded by Euro-American countries. When Japan invaded their colonies in South-East Asia, they
started to pressure Japan by stopping their war aids to Japan.
Americans and the Japanese tried to resolve the problem by talking.
It failed. Japan decided to attack Pearl Harbor. Nobody knows what Japan wanted.
Is it to conquer America or just get America to aid them in their purpose in Asia?
But I think it was the former because their territory in the Pacific was enormous. Japan was threatening Australia.
They were crazy and confident that they could rule the world. How could they know nuclear weapons
were coming over their head.
