I am not sure what is his credentials are, but what he is talking about
is generally unsubstantiated. Nixon and Kinsinger had to stop
Vietnam War. China aided Hochimin. They went to China. Mo and Zhou
agreed to stop aiding North Vietnam and in return U.S. promised to
establish normal diplomatic relation with China.
Nixon asked Park for Korean troops to stay in Vietnam to fight against North Vietnam.
In the mean time U.S. troops began to withdraw from Vietnam. Toward the
end of the war, there were more Korean troops than US troops in Vietnam.
Park was not happy about it.
Park's role model was Changkaiseck of Taiwan. But Nixon became a friend of
Mao who had been the enemy of U.S.. Park lost trust of U.S.. He made 유신
law. He began to advocate independent military buildup. He even started nuclear
program. At this point Park was no longer the leader that U.S. supported.
I can not believe Japan in 1970's would even try to mobilize her own troops to
fight in Vietnam. It's constitution prohibits to participate in the war outside of
Japan. Japan was not wealthy enough to engage in a war that might cost a lot
of money either.
I stop listening to him there.

Doc, you got it all wrong. Please don't bother to listen anymore. You will never know.
What JM Kim said is exactly what is said by you in your second and the third paragraph!
You totally missed the idea because you stopped too early or did not pay attention.
JM Kim has substantiated everything he said. It's you who didn't substantiate what you said.
I will tell you what you missed.
1. You were looking for the school credentials (or a Ph.D. diploma?) in JM Kim.
Sorry, you were looking for the wrong things. Smartness does not come from diplomas and textbooks.
Logical thinking does not come from the library, schooling, textbooks, or classrooms.
I thought you knew that. But obviously, you don't. Just look at yourself or me.
Do you (or I) have a diploma in political science or economics?
When you (or me) don't have any of those, why are you asking for the same of someone else?
Again, I say, smartness and logical thinking have nothing to do with your scholarly credentials.
Please don't judge someone (including yourself) by those.
2. Japan was not going to fight the Vietnam War. What are you talking about? Crazy?
THEY WERE GOING TO HELP NORTH VIETNAM IN THE POST-WAR HANOI.
And the U.S. didn't like it because Japan was getting the world 패권 in industrial productions already.
The U.S. did not want Japan to surpass their 패권. This is what JM Kim said. You totally messed up.
3. To tell the truth, I put up this article specifically for you. And you missed the whole thing.
I guess you did not learn anything from this article.
I am disappointed. Please get some political science credentials or a Ph.D diploma.
Please forget the whole thing. These are very good articles for me but not for you.
Trump has shining credentials in the economy (I guess) but he has been bankrupt numerous times.
Trump does not need fucking credentials, but he does need logical thinking and common sense.
Doc, keep looking for credentials. You need one too. Without it, how can you believe in yourself?

CHAPTER 2 The Protests Thicken (pp. 54-83)
The American-Japanese relationship suffered a bad attack of the jitters during the second half of 1965. Like nations everywhere, Japan grew suspicious when President Johnson sent 3,500 United States marines from Okinawa to South Vietnam on March 8, unleashing them “for offensive action” the following month. The public turned apprehensive when he announced on July 28 that an additional 50,000 troops would be sent. By the end of the year the figure had leaped to more than 184,000. By then American B-52s were flying about 300 sorties a month over North and South Vietnam (first from Guam, later Thailand), with...

CHAPTER 3 The Silent Partner (pp. 84-106)
“Japan has neither the capacity nor intention to undertake military intervention,”¹ Foreign Minister Miki Takeo reassured the Diet in a debate about Vietnam on December 21, 1967. The government insisted again and again that Article IX of the constitution outlawed the use of Japanese troops abroad. During America’s eight-year war in Indochina, Japan was a reluctant diplomatically but also a tacit economic and military partner of the United States. The Satō government backed Washington’s policies toward China and Vietnam, but always with diffidence rather than relish; yet within the limits of Article IX it furnished a great deal of military...

Hey, but you were talking about Japan sending "her troops to Vietnam to fight the war." (??)
Totally "wrong" from what was actually being said in JM Kim's video.
Please listen to his video again if you want any further discussion.
"I can not believe Japan in 1970's would even try to mobilize her own troops to
fight in Vietnam. It's constitution prohibits to participate in the war outside of
Japan. Japan was not wealthy enough to engage in a war that might cost a lot
of money either. stop listening to him there. "
Your chapters 2 and 3 have nothing relevant to Kim's video.
You are barking at the moon.
Here, in blue letters, is the quote you made. What the hell were you listening to in JM Kim's video?
Why? Do you have a personal vendetta against JM Kim?
Why are you trying to downgrade-discredit his presentation for no reason (or wrong reason) at all?
I am telling you, this video was one of the best I have ever seen from youtube contributors.
This guy, JM Kim, is trying to make a living with his personal view of matters related to Korea.
I have learned a lot from here. If you didn't learn from it, that's OK. you are what you are.
Anyway, I like everyone to see this video to get some idea about what's going on in the world
of geo-politics. This is one of the best lessons explained in the easiest way to understand.

South Vietnam

I was deeply stuck in the board exam for general surgery in the 1070s and did not know
anything about the raging Vietnam war.
Then, in the early 1970s, I was examined as a U.S. military drafter for Vietnam War.
About that time, the Vietnam War came to a close and the U.S, military system
turned into a "voluntary" enlisting system. I got away from U.S. military duty.
They didn't need me and I didn't need them either.
That's all I know about the Vietnam War.
As for Japanese involvement in Vietnam War...
“Japan has neither the capacity nor intention to undertake military intervention,”...
In a debate about Vietnam on December 21, 1967. The government insisted again and again
that Article IX of the constitution outlawed the use of Japanese troops abroad......
During America’s eight-year war in Indochina, Japan was a reluctant diplomatically
but also a tacit economic and military partner of the United States......
When Saigon fell to the North Vietnamese armies on April 30, 1975,......
Japan emerged from the stormy Vietnam era more prosperous than ever,....
(without losing even a single drop of blood, as they had done in Korean War!!)
Once the war was over in 1975, Japam volunteered to help re-united Vietnam
in order to get even more prosperous...
On that, the U.S. got mad at Japan... No more freebies for you.
This is what JM Kim tried to say??

Yes, he did. I just wish he provided the so many breaking news with more credible references.
Thank you.
