This is somewhat of a long story but there is a lot to learn from his view.

This interview covers much more than the subject of this video.

He covers the whole world. I would say this is a very fundamental lecture

about world politics and its future.

Especially, Koreans should pay attention to get familiar with world politics.

As you watch his view, please think about our Korea, as if he's talking about us.

You will feel something that matters greatly with our own home

that is sandwiched between the powerful nations of the world.

I have listened to a few lectures of his recently. His worldview is very convincing.

I am afraid that the U.S. and the West will never understand China correctly. 
I think China will continue to grow to be the most powerful country in the world

in the future and the present state of the U.S. will be gone. It may take more or less

one hundred years or longer. "What goes up will go down and vice versa" is what

nature dictates. The Chinese system is not necessarily worse than Democracy

or Democracy is not necessarily better than the Chinese system which is certainly

not communism. 

Regardless, Korea has to deal with two superpowers for a while. For now, I think

that Korea should choose the U.S. for security and China for the economy. Basically,

neutrality with strong national power should be the fundamental foreign policy of Korea.

When real neutrality is accomplished, the U.S. troops in Korea will be gone. 

Neutral Korea will have nuclear weapons, nuclear submarines, and aircraft 

carriers. Then North Korea will be a dismal power or Korea will be one country.

현재 시진핑 정권하의  중공은 우리가 모두 알듯이 CCP (Chinese Communist Party) 입니다.

만일 China가 communist 체재를 벗어난다면 쉽게 미국을 능가해서 세계의 패권을

잡을 것으로 생각됩니다. 다행히도 China의 공산당 체재는 효율성이 없어서

결국은 옛날의 Soviet Union이나 지금의  Russia 처럼 같은 길을 것다가 결국 망합니다.

미국과 패권을 다투던 Soviet Uniion이 사라진 것은 그들의 공산주의 덕택이였으며

미국이 특별히 잘했던 것이 아니지요.

미국의 "Idiotic" White Supremacistice Idea로는 세계패권을 잡가는 힘들 것입니다.

The U.S. is much less smart or determined than we think.

미국은 수많은 전쟁을 했어도 한번도 제대로 이긴적도 끝낸적도 없지요.

World War II에서도 한국을 분단시킨채로 끝낸 것을 아시지요? "하다 마는"게 미국의 특기.

The U.S. can never finish the job! It's all styles with nothing left at the end of the war!

이번의 Russia-Ukraine전쟁도 미국은 끝마치지 못하고 중도하차 할 것으로 염려됩니다.

Russia and Putin을 완전 제거한다면 NATO조차 필요없게 돤다는 것을 그들이 아는지?

지굼이 피 한방 흘리지 않고 Russia를 제거할 수있는 절호의 기회라는 것을 그들이 아는지?

그러고 나면 중공은 공산주의 불장난하다가 자멸할 것입니다. 그냥 두어두면 됩니다.

I will be glad to tell the U.S. what to do now. 

Just let Koreans take over the hegemony of Eastern Asia!  Am I too ambitious or dreaming?

I am not sure even Prof. Mearsheimer knows about this. He certainly did not mention it.
