“I remember Marjorie Taylor Greene specifically,” the organizer says. “I remember talking to probably close to a dozen other members at one point or another or their staffs.”
So, both of my sources said they participated in — quote, unquote — "dozens of briefings" with Republican members of Congress and their staff. That included Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Paul Gosar, Mo Brooks, Madison Cawthorn, and Louie Gohmert.
Yamiche Alcindor:
And based on your reporting, how much did the Trump White House know? In particular, how much did the White House chief of staff at the time, Mark Meadows, how much did he know? And why is it problematic to have the chief of staff involved in a rally that was about supporting the president?
Hunter Walker:
There's supposed to be a bright line between the White House staff and the political operation.
And this would certainly be a violation of that. But, of course, that was a pretty regular occurrence during the Trump years. But I think the key thing here is that, A, the highest-level people in the White House were allegedly in contact with these organizers, but, also, they frame Mark Meadows as someone who had an opportunity to tone this down and stop the violence.
But I think the key thing here is that Trump himself was the major player. They framed the moment that the president said, let's march to the Capitol, sort of encouraged the crowd to march, as a key turning point, where this went from the planned airing of objections to a charge toward the Capitol Dome.
*Jan. 6 2021 US Capitol Insurrection was conspired by the civilian organizers, GOP
congressmen, Trump and White House staffs.

What wishful thinking! Couldn't agree more, WM, but most unlikely, I bet!
Further, this SOB certainly has a better chance to be reelected in 2024 than sleepy Biden!
So, I hate those human garbage GOP Trampists more than this bastard! Indeed, this mother fucker got such bad genes from evil-minded slum lord so that he would do whatever he could to get reelected! No moral, no ethics!
Nevertheless, when this mother fucker should be reelected in 2024, I might not live out to see or become too senile/dementic to get upset like now, who knows!
God bless America!

Doc, please don't get too pessimistic.
Justice will eventually prevail. Please don't pack your luggage yet.
If it does not happen in America, there will be no other places in the whole world
that are better for you and us to find and move away.
Eventually, things will work out in your and our favor.
We are here and stay in America for nothing.
Even under Trump, America will be a better place than anywhere else.

All people involved in the insurrection of January 6, 2021 should be charged
and penalized for treason. Trump should be included as the major contributor to the insurrection
and should be penalized accordingly with the possibility of the death penalty.
How Is Treason Defined in the Constitution?
Treason is the only crime defined in the U.S. Constitution. According to Article III, Section 3: This section authorizes Congress to set the penalties for treason but not to change the definition or create degrees of treason. The federal treason statute, 18 U.S.C. § 2381, mirrors the Constitution's language and imposes minimum penalties of five years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine. A conviction bars the defendant from holding any federal office and carries the possibility of the death penalty.
