山行

산길은
바로 세상 길인데
그대로 사바의 길이데

오르고 나면
내려가라 하고

또 오르라 하데

영혼의 眼藥

눈에서 차가운 이슬이
아니 뜨거운 물방울이
아니 뜨겁고 차가운 물줄기가
느닷없이 흘러내리며
얼굴을 적시기도 하데요

그런데 그것으로 하여
침침하던 영혼의 눈
오히려 맑아지기도 하데요

답답하게 닫혔던 가슴속
오히려 열리기도 하데요

암담하던 앞길도
오히려 밝아지기도 하데요

때로는 이처럼 우리의 눈물이
약중의 묘약
영혼의 안약이기도 하데요

그러나 그것을 느끼고
그렇게 알기 까지는

산다는 것은
기다리는 거

누군가 올것 같아
누군가 만날 것 같아
그리운 그 사람
마중나온 연인처럼
시간이 자꾸만 흘러가도
시간이 아무리 달려가도
심신에 아무리 고통이 엄습해와도
10분만 더, 5분만 더 .......
그렇게 끝없이 설레는 가슴으로
기다리는 거

산다는 것은
사랑하는 사람처럼
오래 참으며 기다리는 거
뭔가 바라던 일이 생길 것 같아
뭔가 꿈꾸던 일이 이뤄질 것 같아
기다리고 기다리는 거

끝내 예감이 빗나가는 것 같아도
끝내 약속이 어긋난 것 같아도
끝내 결과가 의외인 것 같아도
드디어 막차 같은 일이 들이닥쳐와도
그 시간까지 견디며 기다리는 거

아니, 그렇게 기다리다
아, 마침내 마지막 순간
마감의 눈을 지긋이 감았다가도
또다시 새로운 시작의 눈을 뜨는 거.
