It can be easily proven mathematically.

The last two digit of the year you were born=x
Your age in 2011=2011-1900-x (because you used only the last 2 digit, you have to deduct 1900)

So, take the last 2 digits of the year you were born plus the age you will be this year,
like the following:
x+(2011-1900-x)=x+(111-x)=111...
Thus, no matter what "x" is, it's "111" obviously and always !!  QED

After I put this on, I did figure it out as well.
If you did it in 2010, the number will be 110.
Likewise it will be 109, 108, 107 and so on as we go back
all the way to 1900.
If your birthdate is in year 1899 or 19th century or in 21st century,
it won't be 111.
How long did it take you to figure it out.
It took me a while for this old brain.

I thought this formula is a nice way to define a living generation
of mankind. All of us belong to club 111.
Like I said, we earthlings are all in it together in space and time.
Globalization appears to be only natural, evolutionary end product
of humans, and the sooner we humans learn how to get along together
and take care of Mother Earth, the better it will be and
the longer we may last on this planet.

I guess we will have to have a celebration party of some sort
on 11/11/11 !!
