Anthony Kim wins the Shell Houston Open
in the play-off against Vaughn Taylor.


Despite of 2-shot lead at the 18th tee box in the regular 4th round, Anthony's two sand-bunker visits and the missed short putt gave him a bogy while Vaughn Taylor's quiet composure landed him a birdie at the end.

This forced a two-man play-off at the 18th again. This time Anthony's Tee shot found the fairway while Taylor's landed in the fairway bunker.

Taylor had to struggle from the sand bunker twice. Vaughn Taylor's would-be-tying par putt came short of the hole, ...One can tell who got shaken at the play-off..., giving Anthony the championship and over 1 million dollar prize.
Aahhh, Whoopee...

In an interview after the game, having been asked how he felt after the tied score at the 18th with looming play-off match at hand, Anthony said,
"My father told me to believe in myself. And I did."
