Piano, Piano, Only Piano

acrylic on canvas, triptych, 72 × 156 inches

In this exhibition, I attempt to translate pulsating rhythms to the visual music on the ≈ silent canvases, realizing that music and painting have paralleling composition elements –
contrast, variations, leitmotif, texture. Music takes me into my inward passion
and yearning to go beyond the tangible and the concrete and to be utterly free.

This is my fourth solo exhibition.

저의 동기이고 역시 동기 이 철재의 부인입니다.
미술 전시회가 벌써 4회가 되었군요.
미국에 있었다면 한번 가 볼수도 있었는데.
문리대 출신의 언니는 "꽃과 나비"인가 하는 타이틀로 소설가로 데뷰를 했었지요.
재능있는 집안입니다.

with Dr.Kim Myong-won(68), Dr.Lee Oh-soo(69),
Dr.Hong Geun(70),Dr.Shim Wan-seup(70), etc, etc.
But not me, though.
