I have found out the background story of the "Nomadland".
It's a story of older people, "Driven out of their homes by the economic crisis and the retirement crunch, thousands of older Americans have traded the suburbs for the open road. Learn about this growing subculture and the realities they face finding work, staying connected, and living a VanLife."
Hell, it's not a bad life at all to my eyes.
Actually, I used to dream something like this myself.
It's not because I am poor but it's a lifestyle that I wish I like to have.
Such a thing is possible because we live in America. It's a privilege to be a part of America.
It is the ultimate freedom. I don't need to find work for income and I like to extend the nomad life
into the whole world, only if my physical and mental health can allow me.

Though I categorically share the same sentiment with William, I still cannot deny my mixed feelings on such a new(?) style of life for the elderly/seniors which is possible only here in America and nowhere else throughout the world.
A sort of American spirit seeking 'free as a bird' we all dream, isn't it? Indeed we only dream of such a lifestyle with a different reality as William laments!
Yes, we can simply dream it, can't we?

It has been blue color workers' dream that was buying an RV and traveling around
country after retirement. But it was not a necessity but a choice. They had good
pensions provided by the companies. The new generation of retirees does not have
those luxuries. The companies had to compete against Japanese and Chinese
and their wages kept low and the workers had to manage their own retirement fund(401K
defined distribution) instead, the company guaranteed regular payments after retirement(defined benefit
plan). How the hell they know the stock market! Many of them wouldn't know what a mutual fund is.

But, don't they all, blue color workers, get the same benefits of social security and medicare like us in addition to the basic retirement support through their union? To me, they are still better off with these minimum guarantees for daily lives, aren't they!?
Though the freeloaders are chipping away such social benefits they could get and ever-increasing unfairly in this society as well, thank the socialistic Democrats like Bernie Sanders, I see the loading/burdening by these freeloaders through the welfare system is still much less here in the U.S. in comparison to EU Countries like France.

P.S. In France, Allah allows you to have four wives with unlimited number of reproduction - in average, among North Africans living in Marseille area, one male produces 9 to 11 children - and the government pays such generous welfare to raise the family/children, equivalent amount to the regular workers if you fuck to make 4 children!!! It means you fuck all day all night with four wives and get paid at least a double amount to live like a king(?). What a life, buddies!!!
Wall Street Journal reported Zhao's mistreatment in China, but story that Zhao's movie
depicts is about American failure. It is a weak point of capitalism. Income inequality became
so bad that America has shown Nomads in the van, homeless people and food insecurity
to the world. To survive in the capitalistic economy, people have to know how to save and
invest it to grow the money. Otherwise normal comfrotable retirement is impossible.
Many Americans are economic illiterate. And they will be thrown out of their homes and
become Nomads and homeless. Sooner or later they will bother the haves. At the end the vey
capitalism will fail. Did our suystem hit the wall and is the time to invent something new?
Is Doughnut economy the one? China should like the movie. You stupid China!
