The very reason that “the white vote” elected Trump is because they (the white)
believe in the foreigners took advantage of them. They have been seeing many
doctors, lawyers, businessmen and women, CEO’s of big companies and even politicians
who are not whites. They are the ones who deprived of them. They are the ones who made
America terrible. So, Trump pitched “ Make (the white) America great again!”
And he does it by bashing immigrants. You cannot convince them “immigrants(foreigners)
are making America great”. I am afraid bragging immigrants achievement too much
will adversely affect the campaign.

I agree with your cogent observation, Dr. Ohn.
When Obama was our president, I believe there was a lot of hope
and wishful thinking partly through his articulate persuasion
as a great intellect that perhaps the majority of whites are
better enlightened human beings than we thought.
Now in reality with all the undoing of Obama's effort by Trump and
his naked racist leadership we seem to be all the way back to mid 20th century
as far as the attitude and thinking of many of the white people is concerned.
At least, as our WM pointed out, there are too many of us, nonwhites in every walk
of American life so that Trump might be right in facing their threatening reality as it is
by pointing out clearly divided America from the perspective of the whites' old
prejudices, trying to reelect himself by creating a political civil war.
I am convinced, however, Trump won't be able to undo what Obama and
too many whites and nonwhites initiated and struggled to achieve for so many decades
even if Trump succeeds in being re-elected.

We should known that being excellent, being diligent, and being successful
bring up the jealousy and hatred of the less smart, less hard-working, and less successful people.
I think Asians in America have done so well in such a short time.
It scared the whites and they have become defensive.
In a way, Andy Yang should have been careful in proclaiming the splendid accomplishments of the immigrants.
Maybe, he should have kept it a bit quieter.
His speech might have brought up the more undesirable effect in the minds of other Americans.

I watched the second democratic presidential debate almost 3 hours each for
two nights. They spend almost one hour each total two hours for health care.
They argue each other about Medicare for all or building on Obama care.
They all said that can beat Trump. They talked very little about how bad he is.
Then they spend a lot of time to talk about immigration. I did not like it.
I think that the best way to beat Trump is “negative campaign”. The character
assasination is the way to remove Trump from the White House. They must
impress the audience that how bad he is. Why not ask them questions about Russian
collusion, obstruction of justice, tax evasion, bankrupcy oriented business, mistreating
women and affairs with porn star?

I can’t agree more with Dr. Ohn. Only way to get rid of Bastard Trump is ‘tit for tat’ technique of character assassination through “negative campaign”, bringing up how bad this mother fucker is, like life long history of cheating, tax evasion, bankruptcy based business- stupid White trash (39% of the voters) loves his ‘pussy grabbing’ and couldn’t care less with the collusion and obstruction of justice kind of brainer’s term-. Indeed, they love ‘affairs with porn star’ as a macho symbol, get that?

Talking about patents, five Korean men I know well including three of
my high school classmates own dozens or a lot more than a dozen of
patents for each, and three of them are highly successful as a result.
Indeed two of them are well recognized, highly successful entrepreneurs.
They are all immigrants, three Korean-Americans and two Korean-Canadians.
Andrew has it right. No serious politician or presidential candidate has highlighted
the great contributions immigrants have made to the prosperity of this country
until Andrew Yang pointed it out clearly with some indisputable facts.
I assert the same for the field of medicine as well.
Many years ago it was pointed out in some circles of academic medicine that
at least 50 % of all the scientific medical papers being presented at any major specialty
national meeting in USA had the first author or authors who are immigrants or not US born.
