President Vladimir V. Putin’s approval ratings have reached levels unseen in years,
according to an independent poll released on Thursday, as many Russians rally around the flag
in the face of mounting international pressure.

I am not sure average Russians know what Putin is doing to Ukraine
and how Russians are doing in Ukraine war. I think Russians
are misinformed by the governement.

I think Russian people know exactly what's going on and what Putin is doing.
How can the regime hide the fact as their sons are coming back in a plastic bag?
They just stay quiet without saying anything.
If anyone says anything, he will die in a truck accident the next day.

Opposition activist Maxim Katz said he organized a poll of Russians on the war this month which showed 69% in favor and only 19% against.
“Most people don’t believe in this, it doesn’t fill them with any enthusiasm, but they’re not ready to speak out against it,” Katz said. “The authorities are behaving very aggressively, they’ve made it clear they’ll crack down on anyone who is critical.”

It is hard to believe that 83% of Russians support Putin. It
is also as hard for us to expect Russians come out to the street and shout
against Putin. The war against foreign nations almost always make
the people inside rally around the leader no matter how bad he is.
Putin knows it very well. We must defeat Putin to save Ukraine.
If one gets an "independent" (??!!) poll in Russia, you get 83%
in favor of their absolute dictator. Just 83%??
If we get the same "independent" poll in North Korea,
we will probably get 110% in favor of their dictator.
I still wonder why Putin did not get a 100 Plus % approval rating.
Do you believe in an independent poll in a communist country like Russia?
Do we believe in a fair election in a Communist country like North Korea?
