and the Times found Trump lost $1.17 billion from 1985 to 1994.
Trump responded to the reporting Wednesday morning on Twitter.

This report is only for the period from 1985 to 1994.
He lost so much money in his business that he did not have to pay any taxes.
Yet, how could he live like a super-rich in the meantime?
What we are waiting for is his tax return before and after the election of 2016.
I hope it will be available if the Supreme Court agrees with the subpoena of Trump's tax return.
One way or the other, it will be eventually available.
