I love this review and discussion in regard to our daily routines.
My wife has been teasing me for a long time by saying
I lead a monastic life implying that every little routine I do
is being treated as a spiritual practice by me.
Indeed I have tried over the years to imitate and emulate those monks
and nuns in monasteries in dealing with my daily routines.
I suppose and believe this attitude may be a good antidote to boredom
and spiritual emptiness.
You can always mix them with prayers to lead a life of prayer, I feel.
