Do you know Mona Lisa does not have eyebrows? How can a painting miss her eyebrows?
While some people are careful enough even to notice the broadness of her smile,
but no one seems to mention the absence of eyebrows.
What are you going to say if the painting misses her nose?
The eyebrows are such an important part of a woman's face that they can not be missing
but I don't see them here. The eyes and eyebrows are sines qua non in the faces of us.
For example, in real life...
During the COVID-19 disaster of these days, people are missing their mouths and noses
behind face masks when seen in public places. We can only see their eyes and eyebrows.
And, to me, without the mouth and nose, most women look much more cute and beautiful.
When they remove the mask, I always get disappointed. They were not as pretty as I imagined.
It makes me think that we can do very well without mouths and noses, but not with eyes.
If you ever see an ugly face, pay attention to the eyes and eyebrows, then things get better.

I now find her eyebrows absent!
Peerless beauty without eyebrows?
Thank you for your discovery

Hate to interrupt you guys but Leonardo da Vinci originally did paint eyebrows and eyelashes!
It was confirmed lately- I forgot the year but read somewhere– by high resolution camera. Yes, he had painted eyebrows and eyelashes but faded over time and the restoration work through years failed to restore!
So, the old theory/speculation we all heard, on the absence of eyebrows, claiming as the result of the high-class fashion in the Renaissance era to shave the eyebrows is also confirmed to be wrong!

After WM's comment, I used my cheap magnifying glass to visualize any remaining eyebrows without success.
Alas! Time the heartless not only ages all the beauties, but even erases moth-shaped brows inexorably.
What is Gioconda smile?
The Mona Lisa (/ˌmoʊnə ˈliːsə/; Italian: Monna Lisa [ˈmɔnna ˈliːza] or La Gioconda [la dʒoˈkonda]; French: La Joconde [la ʒɔkɔ̃d]) is a half-length portrait painting by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. Considered an archetypal masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance, it has been described as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world". The painting's novel qualities include the subject's enigmatic expression, the monumentality of the composition, the subtle modelling of forms, and the atmospheric illusionism.
The painting is probably of the Italian noblewoman Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo, and is in oil on a white Lombardy poplar panel. It had been believed to have been painted between 1503 and 1506; however, Leonardo may have continued working on it as late as 1517. It was acquired by King Francis I of France and is now the property of the French Republic itself, on permanent display at the Louvre, Paris since 1797.
The Mona Lisa is one of the most valuable paintings in the world. It holds the Guinness World Record for the highest known insurance valuation in history at US$100 million in 1962 (equivalent to $660 million in 2019).
