Hi, Dr. J.S. Kim;
I and we appreciate you for sharing your pictures. Thank you.
They bring up my old memories in both places a long time ago.
Guilin, just once and Antarctica, twice.
We passed through Guilin in a hurry under a Korean group tour.
I was in Antarctica in 1992, sleeping in a tent and wearing climbing shoes with crampons.
Our group of four climbed the summit of Mt. Vinson, the highest peak in Antarctica,
in the deep inner continent away from the sea.
And a few years later, the second time in Antarctica was by a cruise, wearing tuxedo and dancing shoes.
At that time, our ship started from Cape Town, South Africa, sailed through the southern Atlantic,
passed South Georgia without stopping, and then stayed at Falkland for a day before entering
the Antarctic waters. That was one of my most memorable trips.
I have a bunch of pictures that need to be processed to be seen again.
I wish I may have enough time to compose them into a video journal.
Congratulations ! You have done it.
