Obama was fully informed by the intelligent community about Russian meddling

US presidential election sometime in October 2016. But he decided not to go to

the public with it, because he did not like for the sitting president to give the public

an impression influencing the election. He went to the congress and informed it to

the leaders and allow the defense department to anounce it directly to the public.

The announcement was too scratch to be noticed as an alarm to the public.

It was easily buried under the heavy breaking news of Trump's sex scandal at the
