Not bad ideas. It may be a bit shocking departure of the U.S. from what she used to be.

However, it's about time the U.S. may take the position of: 

We will play tough and play stingy.

If nothing in return, no begging, please.

The U.S. passports may not be as good as they used to be.

The world will soon forget the old America.

No more generous spoon feeding. Let them find their own meals.

We shall act like Russians. Why haven't we leaned it earlier?

“Sorvereignty” means every nation can go on their own and the end of US led 

free world. It is about time to get over with Cold War mentality. It was 1991

the dissolution of Soviet and US should have laid out new world order long time ago.

What Trump is saying about trade is that both countries on trade should apply same 

rule. That is his definition of free trade. It has been the rule for US all the time.

But US has allowed protectionism to under developed and developing country to

a certain degree until the country has vital economy to do the trade with US on an equal

footing. Trump wants to do it at once. 

I don’t think he can do it all as he says. But it will infuse some fresh idea to Washington

establishment.

Where is South Korea’s sovereignty?

나는 온 선생 같이 역사 공부를 철저히 하지는 않았지만

감히 한마디 하자면  진정한 so called  sovereignity 는 없다고 봅니다.

근대사 에서 세계질서는 언제나 한 패권 국가에 의하여 유지 되어 왔습니다.

20 세기 중반 이차세계 대전 까지는 스페인. 프랑스에 승리한  영국에 의하여

이차대전 이후에는 미국에 의하여 유지 되어 왔습니다.

일차 대전의 주요 원인은 영국의 패권에 도전한 독일 과의 갈등으로,

이차 세계대전은 그 복수를 위한 독일 과  중국 침략을 위하여 석유, 고무 등의 원자재 확보가 필요 하였던 

군국 주의 일본이 영국/미국 패권에 도전한 결과 입니다.

만약 미국이 패권 국으로서의 위상을 잃는 다면 그 공백은 중국이 메우게 될 것입니다.

우리는 조선 500 년 같이 중국에 조공을 바치는 신세로 떨어질 것입니다.

저는 개인 적으로 민주 체제하의 미국이 공산 체제 하의 중국 보다 백배는 낳다고 봅니다.

이 선배님의 말씀에 전적으로 동의 합니다. 그러나 한국가가 자주권을 행사 할 수 있는 

정도는 그 나라의 국력에 비례한다고 생각 합니다. DMZ의 GP옮기는 문제를 외인부대 

장에게 허락을 맏아야 한다는 뉴스는 한국민이 그리 마음편하게 듣기 힘들었을 것입니다. 

외국의 간섭을 최소 한으로 줄이고 자국민이 원하는 대로 나라 살림을 꾸려 나갈려면, 

“부국강병”이 필수 입니다. 자주권이 쎌 수록 국민은 행복하다고 생각 합니다.
