First of all, I have to praise your house that has the beautiful lake view.

I am just curious who the builder was ? Is he a Chinese American ? 

Anyway, it is wonderful presentation. 

It was built by the Company, New Energy Works, 1180 Commercial Dr, Farmington, NY 14425, near our home. 

This builder is specialized in Timber framing and woodworks. 

The floors were purely made up of our oak trees. 

I showed the house to a couple of guests two days ago, and they were very curious about the Chinese passage inscribed on the loft beam.

So for them, I worked at our webpage today. 

Dr. Ohn, I discovered something totally unexpected. 

I tried to get some poems and images related to this house and surroundings including trees, moon, and lake.

I casually opened Google Search with "湖月照古木 images".

Lo and behold! I did find the very photo of the passage on the loft beam.

I didn't insert it to Google search.

You might try the same passage, and then you will find it in the middle of many images.

The moon over the lake shows the shadow of an old tree...

Yes, I do feel the poetic inspiration on a quiet night with the moon and the lake.

You must be looking down from your house. So, I used to.

I used to live on a hilltop at the shore of the wide and quiet Ohio River in Kentucky.

I used to see the moon just like that reflected on the slowly moving water.

There, the river still flows into eternity. But not my life. And then, I was young.

Something happened in the past is like running water in a river. It flowed and flowed until gone forever.  Why are you obsessed to your old gripe until now?  It is not my saying, but Buddha’s teaching.

That was how Mother scolded me long time ago, and I was young then. But it’s like yesterday to me.

My past good or bad was like ripples in a river.

Am I getting profound?
